Q: Do I need to keep my original video files after I save a playlist?

Yes. Playlist files only contain links to video and photo files. If you compile a playlist based on media files stored on a removable disc or drive (CD, thumb drive, flash memory chip), you will need to insert the CD or attach the drive before loading and playing the playlist.
