For years I have looked for a
simple, effective, Contacts and Information Manager, and have
tried many, from Outlook to Smart Address. I have found it in
PIMEX! |

| The opening main screen has an
interesting, different, but immensely practical layout: it
gives a fairly standard listing at the top of the screen with
totally customizable headings. |
| |
| Double-clicking any line brings
up an entry card with lots of fields, which can hold
information or be hidden (grayed out). There are six tabs
that cover the usual details keywords/categories etc, with
the sixth field is quite different. This contains 16 fields
that cover every need from record numbers to money and from
dates to alpha/numeric text. |

| It is the bottom of the screen
that is so innovative. It brings together all the information
entered in the various fields above, which can be shown in
seven different views at the click of the mouse. There are
tabs on the left side that allow you to choose between card,
personal, notes, reminders, but it is the last three that
really make a difference and put this program ahead of many
others. |

| These are label, envelope and
letter; the first two give an immediate view of what the
label or envelope will look like, and at the right there are
a series of radio buttons, which immediately enter the
relevant information on the envelope or label. |

With many other PIM's, getting
the right settings for address labels is a laborious process,
but here, by clicking on the "settings" icon on the right of
the area, it is a cinch, and everything works like a dream.
Most standard labels are included, but it is very easy to
design your own, and an immediate view is shown at the bottom
of the screen with true WYSIWYG. |

| The "envelope" selection has
the same features, but allows the insertion of clipart or a
logo in any of three standard formats. Once again, whether it
is addressed to the husband, wife or family is just a right
hand radio button click away, which again immediately shows
in the preview at the bottom of the screen. |

| An interesting feature of this
very well thought out program is that there are two setting
and print buttons on the right, which carry out different
tasks on the bottom or top parts of the screen. |

| One can set up any number of
address books and configure each one to show the columns that
you wish to see. It is the ease of configuring the program
that scores again. There is practical international
configuration for foreign addresses, so important in this
multi faceted world. One can keep a really extensive diary
and there is a standard calendar function. Backup is
straightforward with a free sister program. |

| The Help File is comprehensive
and well written and the online support is superb. |
| |
| A few hours trying the program
shows its strength with all the information available so
easily. |

| I tried every
PIM I could find. Good thing I didn't give up -
I found PIMEX. I've been using it for almost a year,
and it's all I'd hoped to find. Printing envelopes
is so easy, and if you've got an oddball size envelope,
with a few clicks you can add it to the list. Return
addresses can be saved so you don't have to keep
typing them in. The calendar/reminders works great,
and the diary and notes come in handy. The backup
and restore feature works flawlessly. The whole
package is put together very nicely - a lot of thought
went into this program. PIMEX is worth twice the
price. |

| Once you have
used this program for a week or so, you will discover
an abundance of features not available in any other
PIM...I have downloaded dozens of PIM's but have
never been satisfied with any one of them until
PIMEX. PIMEX outperforms even Outlook 2000, in my
opinion, and I'm now in the process of transferring
all my Outlook info into PIMEX...The abundant features
of the Address Book alone are worth the $34.95!
I have never seen such a versatile Address Book
before!.. Enter some info into each module, use
the help file, right-click everywhere to discover
more features, and you, too, will probably say like
I do every day: "Wow! I can't believe it will
do that!"...Be sure you are downloading the
most recent build: Version 1.08.4. I am definitely
looking forward to future upgrades...Genius of a
program! Worth the money to keep your life this
organized! Thank you PIMEX developers! |

| I tried about
70 PIMs, and finally it was paid off! PIMEX has
everything I need! It is fully customizable, with
a very nice user interface, and easy to use. I love
the reminders feature, and its flexibility. Notes
are neat and must-to-have; and the password protection

the best Shareware software that I've ever downloaded.
It does what it says and more! The program handles

| This software
is perfect for home and business. You have address',
and the envelope feature is perfect for all those
weird size envelopes that are produced. Diary is
perfect and confidential with a password protection
feature. I think the one of the most important feature
is the reminders that pop up when You say it should.
I could go on but read what the author says and
then give it that monthly try!! |

| I had been looking
for a PIM and I had tried Corel infocentral, but
I wasn't really pleased with it. I saw that Pimex,
not only organized contact info, but also had Password
protected diary, a Calendar with reminders, and
other cool features so I tried it. I liked it so
much I bought a registered version after a few days,
and I use it daily. It's a great program. |
