Q. I use AOL as my Internet provider.  When I try to send an e-mail from PIMEX, AOL doesn't start.
For e-mail access PIMEX uses the default Windows e-mail program, which can be Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook or Netscape Communicator, unless changes were made during AOL installation.
To set AOL as your default e-mail program:
Sign on to AOL
Click Settings, and select Preferences
Click on Associations
Click on "Yes" button to proceed
Next time you try sending e-mail from PIMEX, it will start AOL, open "Write e-mail" window, and insert e-mail addresses into the designated boxes.
Q. I want PIMEX Reminder icon always to be in the task bar tray.
Go to File -> Preferences, and check the appropriate box.
Any time you need to close the icon, right-click on it, and select Exit.
Q. How do I backup my data?
PIMEX automatically backs up all data once every week (or once a day, if set in preferences) into a zip-compatible archive. To backup your data manually or easily restore data from an archive, please download and install free PIMEX Backup utility.
You can also backup your data and copy the archive to a destination set in preferences while exiting PIMEX. For this you need to select File -> Backup & Exit in the menu, or press .
